The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Head of Vendor Management to lead supplier strategy, assortment planning, and vendor performance across our rapidly growing marketplace.
This is not a traditional retail merchandising role.
This is a marketplace leadership role focused on:

✔ Using demand data to drive merchandising decisions
✔ Scaling vendor performance across a digital distribution platform
✔ Curating culturally authentic product assortments

What You’ll Do
Lead Vendor Strategy
• Own supplier lifecycle from onboarding to scale
• Build trusted relationships with global food brands
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and partnerships
Drive Merchandising Strategy
• Define category strategy using real transaction data
• Curate assortments aligned to diaspora demand
• Identify supply gaps and onboard high-potential brands
Optimize Vendor Performance
• Monitor vendor KPIs (GMV, margins, sell-through, fill rates)
• Develop vendor growth plans and performance scorecards
• Partner with suppliers on launches and promotions
Translate Demand into Insights
• Convert marketplace data into actionable supplier strategy
• Identify emerging cultural food trends
• Support forecasting and inventory planning
What We’re Looking For
• 8+ years in vendor management, merchandising, or category leadership
• Experience in marketplaces, distribution, or retail buying organizations
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills
• Data-driven decision making ability
Highly Preferred
• Food & beverage industry experience
• Marketplace platform experience (Faire, Amazon, Instacart, etc.)
• Experience working with international suppliers
• Understanding of multicultural or diaspora markets
